Dradex Review
Dradex built on Solana blockchain. I think no other blockchain can match Solana speed, scalability and low fees. This is my first time using DEX that really fast and also lightweight, I’ll get into that later. Dradex FTW… it’s fast! From clicking buy button to finish the transaction it took just 10 seconds.
There are also interesting feature on Dradex called “Cross-chain”, basically it’s bridge feature and you can bridge coin from Solana to Binance Smart Chain (… and vice versa) with low fees. To be honest, I had pretty bad experience bridging on other chain that made I lost my coins, it’s slow like I have to wait hours and hours claiming my coins but ended up not transferred onto my wallet. Okay, enough talk. Let’s talk Dradex Cross-chain, so I already tested this bridge feature and I love it! It’s fast, in this GIF I test bridging BNB from Binance Smart Chain to Solana, guess how much time to bridge? All in just 1 minutes 57 seconds, I’m impressed with it. Sorry I had to speed it up, but you get the point.
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention you can list your own token on Dradex and it’s easy. Just click cubic button on top-right page and choose List New Market. BTW you still need to contact Dradex developer to verify the market you have made.
Other thing I wanna talk about is user interface. I have medium specs laptop, I can game on it, I can edit and render video pretty smooth, but most times my laptop can’t handle a heavy website and it will freeze my browser.
Most DEX have really nice user interface, and most DEX also have ugly user interface. I’m okay with ugly interface IF they are lightweight. For me, website must having a nice user interface. Why? It’s simple, people love nice things, art, cars, house decoration, you name it.
Dradex on other hand, it’s clean, dark, no ugly mess, lightweight, perfect score from me! I hope Dradex team will keep this UI in mainnet phase.
Dradex Bugs
No apps without bug. So far I have found 2 bugs and 1 UI issues.
1. Infinite loading
I face this bug many times in 2 hour testing session. This bug occur when I switch page let’s say from Market to Wallet page, maybe 35% chance the page will infinitely loading although my internet is fine.
2. Price slider bug
Found this when I want to buy and sell my token. So it’s appear that the price slider rounded my token to 3.89 meanwhile I just have 3.887, I have to adjust my token manually because of this bug.
3. Inconsistent theming
Not pleasant at all …
Conclusion
Time to wrap this up. I enjoyed using Dradex on Devnet phase, really it reminds me of CEX and the experience are much better than other DEX with the same concept. Still, Dradex needs some improvement here and there, but if developer can fix and improve things without changing anything in this point it much better.
